Physical Personal Training
Participants can now have access to personal training support to encourage physical well-being including physical activities and healthy diets.
Participants can now have help supports to maintain their home environment. This may include household tasks that participant is not able to undertake.
Personal Mobility Equipment
Participants can have access to equipment to assist them to move around their home or community such as equipment for walking or wheelchairs.
Participants who are having substantial difficulty when traveling on public transport can now have access to funding through NDIS to travel.
Participants (or their parents / careers) who have English as a second language can now have access through the National Translation and Interpreter Services as an option.
Innovative Community Participation
Participants can now enjoy community activities that are in line with their plans and goals to better connect with their local mainstream and community services. Enjoy different activities and much more and strengthen your ability to participate independently.
Specialised Disability Accommodation
Participants who require specialist housing solutions or have a very high support needs can now be eligible for the specialized disability accommodation funding included in their plan.
Participants can now live independently with supports such as accommodations/tenancy. Having access to affordable, appropriate and secure housing, while learning skills like household management. Participants can also have access to supports like home modifications and personal care.
Participants can now make changes to their home environment which will help them live safety and independently at home through supports to help them achieve the perfect home environment for their needs if eligible.
Participants can now gain skills and improve their independence. Some of the skills could be language, communication, personal care, mobility and movement, interpersonal interactions, community living to support positive changes in every participant's wellbeing.
Participants can now have modifications or installation of equipment in their vehicle to enable them to travel safely as a passenger or to drive.
Participants can now have aids and equipment to assist when playing sports and other recreational leisure.
